Mantavya is a platform for anyone and everyone who is striving to work on their mental health. The platform provides a safe space to address emotional disturbances. The idea is also to inculcate resilience and emotional well-being for every individual who seeks personal growth.
Mantavya means a thought that leads to a destination. At Mantavya the focus is about this elegant change in cognitive approach that we have, which will lead to our destination.
Mantavya is an initiative by Mrunmayee, which aims at a structured yet relatable and free-flowing process of guidance. It's an attempt to normalize mental health for everyone.

Hello, I am Mrunmayee Agnihotri Kumthekar. I am a counseling psychologist and have been working in the field of mental health since 2017. I have finished up my graduation in psychology from Fergusson College, Pune. After that I finished up my postgraduation in counseling psychology from SNDT University Churchgate. My formal education gave me the understanding that as a practicing psychologist/therapist, I need to be trained in specific therapeutic modalities. As a result of that, I am now an Associate Fellow in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York. I have also been trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy from Morphic Minds Institute. I hold my certification in Advanced perinatal mental health psychotherapy from Postpartum Support International.
From my childhood I experienced that if given the right direction, the human mind and behavior can change for good & maintain their recovery for their well-being. This inspired me to be a mental health practitioner from a very early age. These insights help me as well to push myself daily for my emotional well-being as well. I aim at working with individuals who want to help themselves in their emotional
well-being but can't find the right direction. As I believe that self-work need not start only in the face of difficulty but also when you think you are doing good but want to strive for self-growth. Normalizing and destigmatizing mental health issues brings us all closer as humans.
Individual counselling is a one-to-one conversation between you and a trained therapist in a safe and private space. It helps you talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and challenges and work toward better understanding and emotional well-being. Each session usually lasts about 45 to 60 minutes, giving you enough time to share and reflect without feeling rushed. Even if your concern is not listed or you are unsure what you’re struggling with, you are always welcome to reach out. Therapy is for anyone who feels they need support, clarity, or someone to listen.
Group interaction is a therapeutic space where a small group of people come together to share, learn, and grow with the guidance of a trained therapist. It allows participants to connect with others, understand different perspectives, and feel less alone in their experiences. Each session usually lasts about 60 to 90 minutes. During group interactions, different therapeutic modalities and activities are explored to support emotional awareness, communication, and personal growth in a safe and respectful environment.
Trainings in a corporate setup are important because they support employees’ mental well-being, communication skills, and overall work performance. These sessions help create a healthier and more balanced workplace by improving stress management, teamwork, and emotional awareness. Corporate trainings usually last from 60 minutes up to a full day, depending on the topic and the organization’s needs. They offer benefits such as increased productivity, better employee engagement, reduced burnout, and a more positive work culture.
Perinatal mental health focuses on the emotional well-being of individuals during pregnancy and after childbirth. This period can bring many physical, emotional, and life changes, and mental health support is important to help manage stress, anxiety, mood changes, and feelings of overwhelm. Taking care of perinatal mental health supports both the parent and the baby by improving emotional bonding, confidence in parenting, and overall well-being. Early support can also prevent long-term mental health concerns and help families adjust more smoothly to this new phase of life.

Therapy offers a safe and supportive space to understand yourself better. It can help you manage stress, heal emotional pain, improve relationships, and build healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. You don’t need to be in crisis to seek therapy—sometimes you just need a place to be heard and understood.
Therapy is a conversation focused on you. You can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. The therapist listens without judgment and helps you explore patterns, gain clarity, and work toward positive change. There is no pressure to share anything before you feel ready.
You don’t need to prepare anything special. It may help to think about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain. You can also write down questions or concerns. Most importantly, come as you are—nervousness is completely normal.
Ethical practice means the therapist works with honesty, respect, and professional responsibility. Your therapist follows clear guidelines to ensure your safety, dignity, and well-being at all times. Boundaries are maintained to create a secure and trustworthy therapeutic relationship.
Yes. What you share in therapy is kept private and confidential. Information is not shared with anyone without your permission, except in rare situations where there is a serious risk of harm, as required by law. Your privacy is always respected.
A typical therapy session lasts around 45 to 60 minutes. This gives enough time to talk, reflect, and work through concerns without feeling rushed.
Most people start with one session per week, but this can change based on your needs and goals. Together, you and your therapist will decide what feels right and supportive for you.
Thank you for reaching out. Please allow a day or slightly more for a response to your query.
For smoother and more convenient communication, messaging is preferred over calls.
Counseling sessions are scheduled based on availability. In case a session cannot be offered, appropriate referrals will certainly be provided.
